This compilation is made possible thanks to the extensive work undertaken by the late Mohammed Jawad Maghniyyah. His original work was written in classical Arabic and representative of the classical Sunni and Shi`ite literature of legal writings. The original volume included two section one covering laws regarding religious practices and acts of worship, the second covered mundane matters that is usually called mu`amalat.

This translation is the first draft; I was holding on to it until  I have more time to refine this work and make necessary corrections. But as I do not foresee the time availability in the near future, I decided to publish it as is and I am hopeful that other people with interest in the subject would volunteer their corrections and editing of this work. Please forward any corrections, remarks, or suggestions directly to the publishers.
