Reporting: Human Rights Violations in the Middle East and the Muslim World

Although this endeavor of collecting data is mainly an academic one; individuals involved in this project DO report serious claims of abuse and violations of basic human rights once they are received.  Collected data may be shared with appropriate NGOs and other organs who may be able to offer assistance to victims.

This project is designed to assess the level and trend of occurrences of acts of abuse of human rights in the Muslim world at large and the Middle East in particular.  The data is intended to help scholars issue educated and accurate reports on this issue and gauge the appropriate responses. This project is dependent on the honest reporting by victims and activists, please take a moment to report the events and violations as accurately as possible.  Although each case will be considered for its merit, the more data we receive, the more this corroboration will strengthen any given case.
