Severe State Crime and Double Standards: A Lecture by Professor Richard Falk
My focus in these remarks is placed on the tension that I believe exists between law and justice in international settings. And let me clarify what I mean. The relation between state crime and procedures of accountability in response to crimes of an international character has had some impressive formal developments over the course of the last 100 years. There exists now a clear understanding of international crimes of state and an accompanying appreciation of who should be held accountable in the event of violations. Text of the Lecture:
